The ISHLT Thoracic Transplant (TTX) Registry leadership team is excited to share the recent progress with the registry relaunch effort.

ISHLT is a non-profit, professional, multidisciplinary organization committed to improving the care of patients by promoting research, education, and advocacy. As such, we are writing to express our support for molecular testing of donor derived cell-free DNA (dd-cfDNA) for the assessment of allograft injury, and to request that all commercial insurance plans include coverage for this clinical tool.

The preliminary scientific program for the ISHLT 44th Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions is now available at ishlt.org/ishlt2024. The program includes details on more than 40 symposia sessions and allows you to filter content by core therapy and practice area.

Two new ISHLT Standards & Guidelines Consensus Documents have been published in JHLT and are available to read online! Led by Manreet Kanwar, MD and David Baran, MD these two documents are the result of the 2022 Consensus Conference on Cardiogenic Shock.

The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT) has announced the results of the election for the 2024 Board of Directors as well as leadership positions in the Professional Communities. The Society will welcome four new members to the Board of Directors and 16 leaders across ISHLT’s professional specialty communities to serve as representatives to the 4 ISHLT Interdisciplinary Network Steering Committees and the Early Career & Trainee Committee. Terms begin 1 May, 2024, immediately following the ISHLT 44th Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions.
