Join your international multidisciplinary colleagues for the 45th Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions of the ISHLT. The ISHLT Annual Meeting is your gateway to the latest science and practice for the care team in advanced heart and lung disease.

In-Person Event: See You in Boston!

In 2025, ISHLT will take place in person at the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center in Boston, MA USA. There will not be a virtual component to the meeting. All ISHLT speakers and moderators are expected to travel to Boston to participate in-person. Registration Fees

Your payment must be received by 4 February, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. EST to qualify for the early registration fee. All registration fees are in U.S. dollars.

Annual Meeting registration fee includes admission to general sessions, scientific sessions, exhibit hall, poster hall, receptions, and coffee breaks.

Fees for developing economies are based on classifications by The World Bank. Discounted registration fees are available for those working or residing in countries designated as low or middle-income.

Annual Meeting Exhibit Booth Staff registration fee includes admission to the exhibit hall, poster hall, exhibit hall receptions, and coffee breaks only.


Registration Rates & Instructions

  • Physician Rate is available to individuals who hold an MD or equivalent and is not available to those whose primary employer is a for-profit commercial entity, excluding medical centers and healthcare providers.
  • Nurse/Allied Health/Non-Physician Rate is available to individuals who do not hold an MD degree or its equivalent (e.g., nurses, pharmacy technicians, transplant coordinators, CAD coordinators, pharmacists, physical therapists, psychologists, social workers, etc.) and is not available to those whose primary employer is a for-profit commercial entity, excluding medical centers and healthcare providers.
  • Trainee Rate is available only to individuals who are actively participating in a formal training program (e.g., medical, graduate and nursing students, residents, fellows, or the equivalent).
  • Industry Rate is required for anyone whose primary employer is a for-profit commercial entity, excluding medical centers and healthcare providers. Individuals who register under this rate may not register under any other registration category.
  • Exhibitor All Access Rate is available only to exhibitors who wish to attend plenary and scientific sessions in addition to the exhibit area.
  • Exhibit Booth Staff Rate is available only to representatives of companies or organizations exhibiting at the ISHLT 2025 Annual Meeting who require additional badges for exhibit area only access.
  • Friends and Family Rate is available to an attendee’s guests which include spouses, significant others, friends, and family members. Healthcare professionals (physicians, surgeons, allied health professionals, student/trainees, industry professionals) may not register as guests. The Friends and Family Rate includes access to plenary sessions, the exhibit hall, and exhibit hall receptions. Guests must be accompanied by a meeting registrant.

    • Choose "Events" from the left-hand side menu
    • Select "Details"
    • Click "Add Guest"
  • Pre-Conference Day Activities (Saturday, 26 April): Registration for the Annual Meeting is not required to register for Pre-Conference Day activities. Seats in the courses are limited. On-site registration for Pre-Conference Day activities will only be offered for courses that are not sold-out during pre-registration.

Registration Policies and Instructions

Payment of Registration Fees
  • Registration fees are determined by the date when payment in full is received. Registration submitted without payment in full, including declined credit card transactions, are subject to the registration fee in effect at the time payment is received in full.
  • Full payment in U.S. funds only must accompany your registration. Checks must be made payable to ISHLT and drawn on a U.S. bank. Bank fees incurred for processing payment will be billed to the registrant.
  • Wire transfers must be received by 2 April 2025. A $35 USD fee will be accessed for each wire transfer. These fees are the responsibility of the sender. Email registration@ishlt.org for wire transfer instructions.
Registration Substitutions

Registrant substitutions must be received in writing by 2 April, 2025. Email registration@ishlt.org for registrant substitutions.

Registration Cancellation Terms
  1. Registration cancellations must be made in writing by submitting an email to registration@ishlt.org noting the specific reasons for the registration cancellation.
  2. Full refunds will be issued for cancellations received by 11:59 p.m. CST on 4 February, 2025.
  3. Cancellations received between 5 February, 2025 and 11:59 p.m. CDT 1 April, 2025 will be subject to a $75 USD administrative fee. The administrative fee will be waived only if the attendee is unable to travel to the meeting due to travel restrictions, quarantine requirements, illness, or other effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
  4. No refunds will be issued after 1 April, 2025.
Refunds

All refunds will be issued no later than 30 days after the conclusion of the meeting.

Invoice Request

To request an invoice email registration@ishlt.org. To qualify for the early registration discount, full payment must be received by 4 February, 2025. All other payments must be received by 1 April, 2025. ISHLT does not accept purchase orders.

Children in the Exhibit Hall

Children 12 and under are not permitted in sessions or the exhibit hall at any time.

Name Badge Pick Up

To maintain a secure and safe environment for meeting attendees, only the person registered for the meeting may pick up their name badge. There will be no exceptions to this policy.

Privacy Policy

Your data privacy and security are important to ISHLT. When you register for this event, ISHLT will process your data in accordance with our legitimate interests for hosting an industry event and for being a community-based organization. Health & Safety / Liability Waiver & Be Well Agreement

At this time, masks or face coverings are optional for the meeting. ISHLT will adjust its policy as needed, adhere to federal and local health and safety regulations, and adopt prevailing best practices for the meeting, prioritizing the safety of ISHLT participants. As a condition of participating in this meeting, attendees consent to the Liability Waiver & Be Well Agreement.

Code of Conduct

As a condition of participating in this meeting, all attendees, guests, speakers, organizers, volunteers, partners, vendors, and staff at any ISHLT event are required to observe the Code of Conduct.

Ethics Statement

As a condition of participating in this meeting, attendees agree that all information presented or shared complies with the ISHLT Statement on Transplant Ethics and the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki.

ISHLT intends to take photographs and video of this event for use in ISHLT news and promotional material, in print, electronic and other media, including the ISHLT website. By participating in this event, I grant ISHLT the right to use any image, photograph, voice, or likeness, without limitation, in its promotional materials and publicity efforts without compensation. All media become the property of ISHLT. Media may be displayed, distributed, or used by ISHLT for any purpose.

Attendee Badge Scanning

If you attend a session, program, or exhibit booth hosted by an exhibitor and/or industry supporter, you understand and agree that when you present your badge for scanning or when you provide personal data, that information will go to a non-ISHLT entity and ISHLT takes no responsibility for how that company uses your personal information. Providing your information to them is optional, and you should review their privacy policies to address your particular needs and concerns about how they will treat your personal information. Scanned badge information will include first and last names, company/institution, and email address.
