ISHLTconnect is now open to anyone involved in the management and treatment of advanced heart and lung disease, including transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, and pulmonary vascular disease. Nonmembers can connect with this international network through the ten Professional Community forums, while ISHLT members have complete access to the full list of forums and discussion boards.

Nonmembers have access to the ten Professional Community groups. In addition to this, ISHLT members have exclusive access to:

  • Special Interest groups like the ISHLT en Español and Early Career gorups
  • Ad hoc groups for committees, task forces, and other volunteer participation

ISHLT members have the exclusive privilege to search ISHLTconnect for other members and users by:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
  • Organization name
  • Location
  • Professional Community/specialty (cardiothoracic surgery, pulmonology, nursing and allied health, etc.)
  • Early career status

Users can send private messages to individuals in the search results and add them as contacts.

Job Board

ISHLT members have exclusive access to the ISHLTconnect job board. The discussion forum in this community can be used to post available job opportunities in the field of advanced heart and lung disease and mechanical circulatory support
