Joseph Rogers, MD, Named Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation4 May 2024
The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation (ISHLT), which publishes The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation (JHLT) with Elsevier, has named Joseph Rogers, MD, as the new editor-in-chief of the Journal. Dr. Rogers is the President and CEO of the Texas Heart Institute in Houston, TX USA.

Research and Career Development Funded by Grants from ISHLT and the ISHLT Foundation3 May 2024

Kyiv’s Heart Institute Keeps Transplanting Hearts Despite War10 April 2024
Amid the persistent threat of missiles from the air and an array of hazardous terrestrial obstacles, the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health in Kyiv has continued to provide heart transplants to Ukraine’s citizens, performing 40 of the life-saving procedures since Russia’s full-scale invasion of the country in 2022.
