A new ISHLT Standards & Guidelines Consensus Document, ISHLT 2024 Infection Definitions for Durable and Acute Mechanical Circulatory Support Devices, has been published in JHLT and is available to read online! Led by Saima Aslam and Ezequiel Molina, this document provides updated definitions for infections associated with durable MCS devices and new definitions for infections in acute MCS.
