ISHLT Opens Registration for ISHLT2022 Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions14 January 2022
ISHLT will host its 42nd Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions on 27-30 April, 2022. Attendees will meet in-person in Boston, MA USA, and the event will include educational content spanning the breadth of clinical practice and research concerning heart and lung transplantation, advanced heart and lung disease, mechanical circulatory support, and pulmonary vascular disease. Virtual access to selected education will also be available.

ISHLT has announced the results of the member election for the 2022 Board of Directors. The Society will welcome six members of the Board of Directors at the 42nd Annual ISHLT Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions on 27-30 April, 2022.

Preliminary Program Now Available for ISHLT’s 2022 Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions16 November 2021
ISHLT will host its 42nd Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions on 27-30 April, 2022 in Boston, MA USA. The preliminary program for the meeting is now available to browse at ishlt.org/ishlt2022, and currently features three plenary sessions, 18 sunrise symposia, and 35 invited symposia sessions.

ISHLT Accepting Applications for Research Grants in Mechanical Circulatory Support4 November 2021
ISHLT is now accepting applications for two research grants to be awarded in 2022, both funding research in mechanical circulatory support. Applications for the ISHLT/O.H. Frazier Award and the ISHLT/ICCAC VAD Coordinator Award will be accepted from now through 31 January, 2022.

ISHLT Academies Return with Core Competencies Course in Pulmonary Hypertension30 September 2021
ISHLT Academies have returned. The ISHLT Academies are standalone educational courses designed to improve and maintain the highest possible standards in the care of patients with advanced heart and lung disease. While the 2021 Academies were not able to be held face-to-face, the ISHLT has released its Core Competencies course in Pulmonary Hypertension with an online, self-paced curriculum.

JHLT Strengthens Impact Factor, Maintains Status as Top Journal in Transplantation for a Seventh Year7 July 2021
For the seventh year in a row, the Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation’s Impact Factor earned the publication the number one ranking in the transplantation category. The Journal has also ranked number three in Surgery (from four in 2020), number five in Respiratory (from seven in 2020), and maintained its rank of number 13 in the highly competitive Cardiovascular category.
