Unfortunately, proposals from non-members or ISHLT members with industry affiliations will not be considered. Additionally, members of the ISHLT2025 Program Planning Committee are unable to develop content or submit proposals, ensuring fairness and impartiality in the selection process.

Log on to the OASIS Symposium Proposal Submission Site. Remember, this site is exclusively for ISHLT members. You can expect an email containing the submission site link on Monday, 3 June, and it will also be posted in the Open Forum of ISHLTconnect. Make sure to get your final proposals in by Monday, 24 June at 11:59 p.m. ET / Tuesday, 25 June at 3:59 UTC.

Crafting compelling symposium proposals can be a breeze with these three tactics:

1. Consult the ISHLT CME Mission Statement for guidance on relevant content. Incorporating some or all of its components into your symposium proposal can enhance its alignment with the Society’s goals.
2. Explore the curated topics lists organized by Heart, Lung, MCS, and PVD, based on feedback from the ISHLT2024 Annual Meeting Evaluation Survey. Use this list to consider the specific interests and needs of the ISHLT community, ensuring that your proposal is aligned with current trends and priorities in the field.
3. Begin or participate in discussions on potential topics via the PC and IDN forums on ISHLTconnect. Moreover, feel free to consult with the appropriate IDN Steering Committee related to your topic before submitting a proposal. They can assist in identifying and prioritizing proposal topics.
