This event is now sold out.
Want to contribute to the medical literature in advanced heart and lung failure and transplantation? Don’t miss this session designed to help early career professionals and trainees sharpen their skills and review papers like an expert. Led by JHLT Editor-in-Chief Joseph Rogers and moderated by members of the JHLT Editorial Board, you’ll learn how to craft an efficient review with comments and insights that really help your editor.
About a week before the session, you’ll receive a paper to review. After a short period of instruction, the session will break out into small groups and work together, under the leadership of an editor from JHLT, to provide helpful and
relevant comments on the paper.
All are welcome to this special session, co-hosted by the ISHLT Early Career + Trainee Committee and the editorial leadership team of The Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation (JHLT). No continuing medical education credits (CME) are available
for this session.
Session participants will:
- Learn several helpful and efficient approaches to reviewing a paper.
- Be able to identify what kind of information and insights editors are looking for when seeking reviewer comments.
- Get hands-on practice reviewing a paper in a small breakout group led by a member of the JHLT editorial board team.
