This course is for attendees of all career stages and is designed to enhance the understanding of cardiogenic shock through dynamic and varied teaching methods, ensuring participants leave with actionable knowledge and practical skills. Time has been built into the program for attendees to ask questions and receive guidance from Cardiogenic Shock experts from around the globe.
2025 ISHLT Academy Core Competencies in Lung Failure + Transplantation

This highly interactive course includes six sessions spanning the lung transplant journey from candidate selection to post transplant management and quality of life. Session talks will review available scientific evidence and guidelines utilizing real life case-based discussions to connect participants to the content. Each section of the course will be directed specifically to a transplant phase covering lung transplant candidacy, waitlist and bridging approaches, surgical and post-operative strategies, rejection, infections and important aspects of post-transplant care.
Registration for these events is separate from the conference: You don’t have to attend ISHLT2025 to take advantage of the ISHLT Academies in Boston, but the course is a great complement to your Annual Meeting experience.
