Lung Transplant Leader Greg Snell Honored by ISHLT Foundation
On 13 April at the closing General Session at the ISHLT 44th Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions in Prague, the ISHLT Foundation announced Greg Snell, MBBS, FRACP from Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, VIC Australia as
the 2024 recipient of the Francis D. Pagani, MD Endowed Mentorship Award.
Dr. Snell’s impact on the field of advanced lung disease and transplantation spans three decades, and is marked by prolific research, educational contributions, and pioneering innovations. He has authored hundreds of publications, led pivotal ISHLT initiatives, and spearheaded groundbreaking studies in respiratory medicine.

This $5,000 USD award is provided by the ISHLT Foundation in honor of a member of the ISHLT that displays selfless mentorship of clinicians dedicated to the treatment of advanced heart and lung disease. Award funding supports education, research, and training activities at the discretion of the mentor.
