2024 ISHLT Lifetime Achievement Award Honoring Lori J. West, MD, DPhil

During its 44th Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions, the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation will honor the recipient of the ISHLT’s 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award, Lori J. West, MD, DPhil.
“For more than four decades,” says Dr. West, a past president of the ISHLT, “ISHLT has been the vibrant conduit supporting effective global collaboration amongst the members of our diverse professional community. I feel tremendously honored to receive the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award from my ISHLT colleagues. It is an immense privilege to receive acknowledgment of efforts, in the context of teams comprising many talented individuals, towards advancing new therapies for children with devastating heart conditions.”
