Strategies for Global Equitable Access to Heart and Lung Transplantation (2025 DEIA Workshop)

Building on the success of the DEIA Workshop at ISHLT2024, the 2025 DEIA workshop will be a highly interactive session dedicated to advancing equitable access to quality care for advanced heart and lung failure patients. This workshop will challenge attendees to contribute to the development of solutions that ensure all patients, regardless of their location or socioeconomic status, receive high-quality care throughout their transplant journey.
The program will combine insightful presentations from expert faculty representing diverse regions worldwide with collaborative breakout sessions. These breakout discussions will encourage participants to work together to develop actionable strategies to address healthcare disparities.
By integrating expert knowledge and participant-driven collaboration, the DEIA Workshop aims to empower attendees to play an active role developing solutions for quality and access to care.
