ISHLT Welcomes Shanita Anderson as ISHLT Foundation Engagement & Administration Manager
ISHLT is pleased to welcome Shanita Anderson as Engagement & Administration Manager of the ISHLT Foundation. Shanita will be responsible for the management and development of individual and organizational donors and supporting the delivery of programs supported by the ISHLT Foundation.
Shanita has more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting mission-driven organizations. Prior to the ISHLT Foundation, Shanita served as Programs and Operations Manager for the American Veterinary Medical Foundation, where she was responsible for program and operations management for grants and scholarships to veterinarians and veterinary students.
Shanita holds a degree in History from Northwestern University and resides in Aurora, Illinois, with her husband and their two rescue dogs. They have two young adult children. In her free time, Shanita enjoys exploring historic architectural tours and botanical gardens.
