2024 ISHLT/PHTS Academy Core Competencies in Pediatrics
9 April, 2024 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CESTCore Competencies in Pediatric Transplantation is a unique course that will be applicable to pediatric transplant team members that participate in either heart or lung transplantation. There will be sessions applicable to both pediatric heart and lung transplantation and then a Heart Pathway breakout and a Lung Pathway breakout.

2024 ISHLT Academy Master Class in Mechanical Circulatory Support
9 April, 2024 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CESTThe MCS Master Class is designed for clinicians with a higher level of expertise in mechanical circulatory support (MCS). The course is intended to generate discussion among experienced users of MCS technologies in order to tackle the most complex nuances of managing these complicated patients.

2024 ISHLT Academy Master Class in Heart Failure & Transplantation
9 April, 2024 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CESTThis course is comprised of four sections that are based on interactive discussions among international experts in the field of heart transplantation from a multidisciplinary perspective. Current hot topics and challenges will be reviewed focusing on available evidence as well as on clinical expertise in decision-making.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Workshop: Transforming Transplantation: Building Paths to Equitable Care and Outcomes
9 April, 2024 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. CESTPresented by the ISHLT Foundation and supported by Thermo Fisher Scientific.
This interactive workshop will explore the factors that influence and interfere with equitable access to transplantation and post transplantation care for patients. Transplant team members will learn about historical and present forms of systemic bias and structural racism that influence the organ transplantation process. Through active discussions and presentations, a panel of experts will introduce and explain tools that practitioners can utilize to recognize and address these systemic issues. Participants will gain insights into how to advocate for patients and help empower patients to choose treatment strategies throughout their transplant journey.North Hall, Floor 2, Prague Congress Centre
