In-Person Event: See You in Denver!
In 2023, ISHLT will take place
in person at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, CO, USA. There will not be a virtual component to the meeting. All ISHLT speakers and moderators are expected to travel to Denver to participate in-person.
Health & Safety
At this time, masks or face coverings are optional for the meeting. ISHLT will adjust its policy as needed, adhere to federal, state, and local health and safety regulations, and adopt prevailing best practices for the meeting, prioritizing the safety of ISHLT participants.
Registration Fees
All registration fees are in U.S. dollars. Your payment must be received by 16 February, 2023 to qualify for the early registration fee.

Registration Rates and Instructions
- ► Physician Rate is available to individuals who hold an MD or equivalent, and is not available to those whose primary employer is a for-profit commercial entity, excluding medical centers and healthcare providers.
- ► Nurse / Allied Health / Non-Physician Rate is available to individuals who do not hold an MD degree or its equivalent (e.g., nurses, pharmacy technician, transplant coordinator, VAD coordinator, pharmacists, physical therapists, psychologist, social workers, etc.) and are not available to those whose primary employer is a for-profit commercial entity, excluding medical centers and healthcare providers.
- ► Trainee Rate is available only to individuals who are actively participating in a formal training program (e.g., medical, graduate and nursing students, residents, fellows, or the equivalent).
- ► Industry Rate is required for anyone whose primary employer is a for-profit commercial entity, excluding medical centers and healthcare providers. Individuals who register under this rate may not register under any other rate/registration category.
- ► Exhibitor All Access Rate is available only to exhibitors who wish to attend plenary and scientific sessions.
- ► Exhibit Booth Staff Rate is available only to exhibitors who require additional badges for exhibit hall only access.
- ► Friends and Family Rate is available to an attendee’s guests which include spouses, significant others, friends, and family members. Healthcare professionals (physicians, surgeons, allied health, student/trainees, industry) may not register as guests. The Friends and Family Rate includes access to plenary sessions, the exhibit hall, and exhibit hall receptions. Guests must be accompanied by a meeting registrant.

- ► ISHLT Academy Master Classes (Tuesday, 18 April): Registration for the Annual Meeting is not required to register for an Academy. Seats in the courses are limited. On-site registration for ISHLT Academies will only be offered for courses that are not sold-out during pre-registration.

Registration Policies and Instructions
PAYMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES
- ► Registration fees are determined by the date when payment in full is received. Registration submitted without payment in full, including declined credit card transactions, are subject to the registration fee in effect at the time payment is received in full.
- ► Full payment in U.S. funds only must accompany your registration. Checks must be made payable to ISHLT and drawn on a U.S. bank. Bank fees incurred for processing payment will be billed to the registrant.
- ► Wire transfers must be received by 30 March, 2023. A $35 USD fee will be accessed for each wire transfer. These fees are the responsibility of the sender. Email registration@ishlt.org for wire transfer instructions.
- ► Invoice Requests: To qualify for the early registration discount, full payment must be received by 16 February, 2023. All other payments must be received by 30 March, 2023. ISHLT does not accept purchase orders.
REGISTRATION SUBSTITUTIONS
Registrant substitutions must be received in writing by 30 March, 2023. Email
registration@ishlt.org for registrant substitutions.
REGISTRATION CANCELLATION
- ► Registration cancellations must be made in writing by submitting an email to registration@ishlt.org noting the specific reasons for the registration cancellation.
- ► Full refunds will be issued for cancellations received by 11:59 p.m. CST on 16 February, 2023.
- ► Cancellations received between 16 February, 2023 and 11:59 p.m. CDT 30 March, 2023 will be subject to a $75 USD administrative fee. The administrative fee will be waived only if the attendee is unable to travel to the meeting due to travel restrictions, quarantine requirements, illness, or other effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
- ► No refunds will be issued after 30 March, 2023.
REFUNDS
All refunds will be issued 30 days after the conclusion of the meeting.
CHILDREN 12 AND UNDER
Children 12 and under are not permitted in sessions or the exhibit hall at any time.
NAME BADGE PICK UP
To maintain a secure and safe environment for our meeting attendees, only the person registered for the meeting may pick up their name badge. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
PRIVACY POLICY
Your data privacy and security are important to us. When you register for this event, ISHLT will process your data in accordance with our legitimate interests for hosting an industry event and for being a community-based organization. Please review our
privacy policy, including how to exercise your rights under the GDPR.
