About CME

To claim CME/CE credits, you must submit your online evaluation form at the conclusion of the meeting. You will be receiving an email with the link to the evaluation at the conclusion of the Annual Meeting, at the email address you used to register for the event. Once you complete the survey, you will receive a link that will take you to a site where you will complete a form and attest to the number of credits you are requesting based on the number of hours you participated in the meeting. You have 30 days to complete the evaluation and receive your certificate.
Attendees can earn up to 32.0 CME/CE credits. CME/CE will only be awarded for sessions attended during the Annual Meeting dates (24 – 28 April, 2021).
Once you complete the attestation form, you can print your certificate, and it is emailed directly to you. You have 30 days to complete the evaluation and receive your certificate.
 

Target Audience

The target audience includes physicians, surgeons, scientists, pharmacists, nurses, transplant coordinators and other allied health and social science professionals engaged in the management and treatment of patients with advanced heart or lung disease, basic science or clinical research related to these fields, or other specialties which cause them to become involved in the treatment of patients with advanced heart or lung disease.

Learning Objectives

After participating in the Annual Meeting participants should have improved competence and performance in the areas of:
  1. Discussing the latest information and approaches regarding transplant research, surgical techniques, medical therapies, donor management and patient management for the treatment of patients suffering from advanced heart and lung disease.
  2. Applying state-of-the art treatment approaches, risk factors, risk management approaches, patient selection criterial, disease prevention strategies, outcome implications and psychosocial management strategies for patients with advanced heart and lung failure.
  3. Evaluating emerging technologies, medical advances and the clinical applications of basic science models of advanced heart and lung disease management and prevention.
