The ISHLT Monograph Series is an annual hardcover publication of the Society that provides in-depth coverage of the current state of knowledge of a specific topic relevant to heart and lung transplantation and/or end stage heart and lung disease.

Volume 1: Mechanical Circulatory Support was published in September 2006. Volume 2: Pediatric Heart Transplantation was published in April 2008. Volume 3 (Part 1 & Part 2): Advanced Heart Failure was published in February 2009. Volume 4: History of International Heart and Lung Transplantation was published in March 2010. Volume 5: Diagnosis and Management of Infectious Diseases in Cardiothoracic Transplantation and Mechanical Circulatory Support, was published in March 2011. Volume 6: ISHLT Guidelines for the Care of Heart Transplant Recipients, was published in April 2012. NEW!
