ANNUAL MEETING


The International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation conducts its Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions in April of every year. The meeting is conducted in North America for two years and outside North America every third year.

The Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions includes the following components:
  • 4.5 days of Invited Lectures, Symposia, and Research Presentations based on submitted abstracts, beginning Wednesday morning and concluding early Saturday afternoon
  • 3 days of a commercial exhibition featuring booths of companies providing products and services to medical and allied health professionals engaged in the care of individuals with advanced heart and lung disease
  • The Annual Business Meeting of the Society
  • The Annual Meetings of each of the Society's eleven Scientific Councils
  • Meetings of ISHLT's Board of Directors, Committees, and Workforces
  • Various social and networking events and opportunities, including the President's Cocktail Reception
  • A Junior Faculty Mentor Lunch
  • Events and symposia conducted by commercial interests during hours that do not conflict with the ISHLT scientific presentations
  • Access to recordings of the presentations given at the Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions
